Construction Update: Mobilization Underway at The Legacy

Evanston, IL — We’re excited to share another key milestone for The Legacy at 1621 Chicago Avenue. We have received our building permit, allowing us to begin mobilization and construction on site. At the direction of the city’s staff, we will be implementing their required Construction Management Plan that includes new vehicular, biking, and pedestrian traffic patterns. We ask that those in the area heed the signage and comply with the traffic patterns.

Work is set to begin, with traffic control measures initiated and site fencing installation beginning this week. These early steps mark the transition from demolition to active site preparation, bringing us closer to vertical construction. We are scheduled to reach completion in late Fall 2027.
